When you use Mogtamee's services, either via website or the App, you are trusting us with some of your information. We understand this is a big responsibility on our shoulders and we are always working hard to keep your information safe and secure, and give you control over your data. We are already ISO 27001 certified, independently certified for protecting privacy of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) under GDPR readiness, and working on a few other major data privacy certifications. This Privacy Policy section is meant to help you understand what information Mogtamee collects, why we collect such information and how you have full control to update, manage or delete your information.

Introduction
Mogtamee is a comprehensive security and community management platform helping millions of users to make their life safe, secure, and convenient. Our various services include:
- Visitor Management: Mogtamee’s technology enhances security by ensuring that there is a process of visitor approval managed by the residents who can now control who to allow in the premises.
- Delivery management: With Mogtamee, users can have their deliveries left at the gate, in case they are not available at home – and pick them up at their convenience. Mogtamee has also partnered with eCommerce portals to make the entry of delivery personnel faster and more secure.
- Security Alert: In case of an emergency, residents can alert their security personnel at the click of a button on the app.
- Daily Help Management: All residents receive notifications on the entry of their daily help (maids, cooks, nannies), and can also check their monthly attendance. Residents can also pay their daily help’s salary via the app or record a cash payment.
- Clubhouse Management & Amenities’ Booking: The management committee of a Residents Welfare Association can use this feature to ensure that the clubhouse area is restricted to residents and their guests, understand usage trends, and even implement a booking feature for certain facilities.
- Helpdesk and Communication: With Mogtamee Communication Management, the management committee can create opinion polls, send meeting invites, and residents can have their complaints resolved by raising an issue to the concerned person as well as start a discussion, post an idea, or provide feedback.
Mogtamee seamlessly connects the community – the residents, RWA, facility management, security personnel, daily help, visitors, and Service Providers – through the app, with a view to improving the security and convenience.
Apart from using our services, all users can use our Web and App in a variety of ways to manage their data privacy.
We would like you to understand that the information collected via the Mogtamee app or website is to help us provide you with superlative service. The information Mogtamee collects, and how that information is used, depends on how you use our services and how you manage your privacy controls. For example, for standard Mogtamee services, only your flat details along with name and number will be needed. However, if your society chooses to use advanced features like Accounts and payments, additional information may be needed to render services.
Information collected on the Mogtamee app and website:
- Residents: Name, Email address, Mobile number, Secondary Mobile number, your apartment/villa number, tenant or an owner, vehicle number (if any), and any other optional information including biography, interests, photographs, reviews, content, communications, posts, listings, payment information, address book, etc. as you may have chosen to provide on Mogtamee. In the event vehicle details are shared, we may obtain publicly available data from RTO’s and third-party service providers based on the vehicle registration number to provide value-added services to you.
- Guests: Name and resident flat to be visited. No other guest information is required on the Mogtamee App for entry at gate (Note: Individual Resident Welfare Association [RWAs] may mandate additional information such as phone number, photograph, etc. which is totally at the discretion of respective RWAs.)
- Service providers to society/individual homes: The name, phone number, resident flat to be visited (if any), vehicle number (if any), entry/exit time, identity proof, visit purpose, and photograph. For security reasons, some personally identifiable information of service providers including delivery executives is taken at the gate as per the discretion of the respective RWA and appropriate local laws. Further, certain financial information may be required to facilitate the processing of payments made through our payment service providers. As making payment may require the utilization of the services of the payment service providers, you will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of such payment service provider, as well.
- Additional information: IP address, Webpages visited (Pages of mogtamee.com visited by the user; a standard practice to optimize user experience and curate content of a website), browser, device and operating system information (including device ID, Android ID, Apple IDFA ID, etc.), mobile network information, the date, time, and referrer URL of your request (the website from which the user was redirected to mogtamee.com; a standard practice to track and compensate the originator of traffic to the Mogtamee website, such as when a visitor clicks on a Google ad for Mogtamee.)
Information Collected from Other Sources / Third Parties:
In addition to the above, in light of the COVID Pandemic, Resident, Guest, and/or Service Providers to the Society/Individual homes shall have the option to use the Aarogya Setu Mobile App (Aarogya Setu App) to initiate the permission to gain entry into the respective flat/society. If a Resident, Guest, and/or Service Providers to the Society/Individual homes use the Aarogya Setu App to gain entry, Mogtamee shall receive the following information from the Aarogya Setu App upon scanning of the QR Code: (a) Name (b) Mobile Number (c) Risk Category
Individual RWAs may mandate the use of the Aarogya Setu App for gaining entry into the RWA which is totally and solely at the discretion of respective RWAs.
We collect standard website access information (type of browser, etc.) using cookies and other similar technologies on all our websites (mogtamee.in, mogtamee.com). We do this to measure, improve, and personalize our services for you and we do not share this information with any third-party organizations for commercial purposes.
We don’t sell or trade user information in any form to anyone. The information is used solely for the purpose of enabling services and making your experience better on Mogtamee platforms. On a case-to-case basis, we give you great value add from third-party partners where information will be shared after your explicit consent.

Mogtamee’s services are an extension of the services offered by the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) (being our direct customer) of the premises. The RWA members will have access to all the information collected for their society on Mogtamee for recording and security purposes. In case any of the RWA members access any of resident data, Mogtamee will transparently convey the same to the user along with the reason for access to the information.
Mogtamee provides its services through our website and mobile app (will be collectively referred to as “Platforms”). User information is collected via our Platforms when:
- Information is entered manually by users: You provide information to us when you use our services. For example, when you register on our app, provide your flat/villa number and other required information to use our basic services. If you don’t register, you will not be able to use our services.
- Information is entered by the Resident Welfare Association (RWA): When you register on Mogtamee through your RWA and use our services, RWAs need to share your flat number and other information required to make your premises more secure and convenient.
- Information is collected via cookies, server logs, and other similar technologies when you use our website. This information helps us to improve our services, the user experience on our website, and our communication.
- Third-party information: We may receive information about you from third-party service providers with whom you interact with or from other sources that you have authorized.
We use the information collected to provide our services, improve user experience and ensure your safety and security. The information is used in various ways depending on the services you use and how you manage your privacy controls, including:
- To create and manage your account.
- To enable services such as visitor management, delivery management, security alerts, etc.
- To improve our services and develop new ones.
- To provide customer support and address your inquiries.
- To ensure compliance with our terms of service and policies.
- To monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.
- To communicate with you about updates, promotions, and news related to Mogtamee services.
